Datalogic Gryphon Healthcare scanners

Datalogic Scanning is pleased to announce that the successful Gryphon series of scanners has been further expanded with the introduction of the new Gryphon HC (healthcare) models. Gryphon HC is a series of products which include linear imagers available in corded and cordless models, all targeted at providing the healthcare industry with products able to satisfy the needs of anti-microbial enclosures. These new HC products are manufactured with special materials creating a disinfectant-ready housing which is treated with anti-microbial additives.

The key mission of scanners in the healthcare industry is to improve the quality of patient care while reducing medical errors and the associated costs. For these reasons, governments worldwide are implementing or considering regulations to reduce and prevent medical errors. As a result, hospitals are now being required to implement a series of solutions in order to be compliant with new regulations.
