The PST2000A Pullswitch is a reliable 'TautWire' failsafeemergency stop system for installation alongthe lengthof a conveyor. Pullswitchescanbeinstalledatintervalsof up to 100m, reducingthe overallsystem cost. PVC coatedsteelpullwire, availablein five differentcolours, connectsbetweenthe switchesto providecontinuousemergency stop accessalongthe lengthof the conveyor. Quick location of a trippedswitchisprovidedby a flag/reflectorcombinationand a signal canalsobewiredback to an indicatorpanel or PLC.

The Pullswitchhousingismade frompolycarbonate and stainlesssteelprovidingcorrosion-resistant, robustand weatherproof protection. A total of five independentchangeovercontacts insidethe Pullswitchofferunique operationand control. Twoindependentcamoperatedswitcheswithsnapaction mechanicaloperationsare providedfor conveyorshutdown. A thirdswitchactsas an auxilarytrippedswitchlocation signal and twoadditionalmicroswitchessignal for a slackwirealarm.
