JXW-51 sensors

With multiple mounting brackets available, JXW-51 sensors are widely used in wall-mounted boiler and dual-purpose stove applications. The sensor can be instantly added to both existing systems and new designs thanks to its clip on design, providing direct access to accurate temperature data from -40°C to 120°C.

With an International Protection Rating of IP54, every JXW-51 is protected against dust, humidity and water exposure*, and, with high stability, it is the ideal solution for fit-and-forget designs. Plus, with its clip on design, installation is instant whilst remaining flexible around an existing design.

Shibaura offers the JXW-51 in a range of sizes from 12mm to 18mm, with both single and duplex types available. Within the sensor, Shibaura NTC elements from the PSB series provide temperature data within an accuracy of less than ±1°C. Once fitted, systems benefit from the low response time of less than 3seconds at the contact point, which is constructed out of a durable nickel plated copper.
