For measuring distances of up to 800m (using reflectors) For measuring distances up to 110 m using natural surfaces. The 1000D uses TOF technology (Time of Flight Technology)
Ideal for many different industries & variety of tasks/applications:
  • Positioning of vehicles; intelligent light barrier
  • Positioning of cranes; collision avoidance; profile measurement for commodities
  • Measurement of slabs and coils in the steel industry

The LASE 1000D is equipped with a microprocessor control, by which theapplication ranging can be evaluated. High accuracies can be measured by controllable averaging that accommodates high-dynamic movements. Specific distances can be defined as threshold values.

Measuring Method
: The sensor transmits extremely short multiple light pulses, measures the running time of these pulses to the object and back and also computes the distance. The measuring data will be sent serially over a RS 232/RS 422 interface as well as a programmable analog 4-20 mA output. In addition to this two switching outputs are 'on-board'. They can be configured in logic and band width. As a third PROFIBUS DP interface is also available.
