PCI Board with Advanced Architecture

The 7803c low profile PCI Serial Interface with eight RS-232 ports enables a wide range of non-standard baud rates through an advanced architecture with eight independent, enhanced 16550 compatible UARTs that provide 256-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs.

With support for RS-232 data rates up to 230.4 Kbps, the 7803c Low Profile PCI Serial Interface is intentionally designed for data-intensive applications including automation, control, test and measurement, and point-of-sale. All RS-232 modem control signals are implemented for maximum compatibility with a wide range of serial peripherals. For deployments in extreme environments, the 7803c features a wide operating temperature range of 0° to 70°C. Sealevel’s SeaCOM software is included for easy installation and operation.
